I had the pleasure of meeting lovely Fiona back at a wedding fair in March. I worked with Fiona to create a bespoke piece for her, which tied in with her dress and the design of her wedding ring. Fiona sent me a picture of her lovely vintage lace dress and also her gorgeous engagement ring, which had stones set in a “daisy” formation. She wanted to capture both of these details in the head piece. She had also decided that she didn’t want a veil over her face, but instead wanted something a bit different – a headpiece giving the effect of a veil, but sitting over her hair at the back. So, we got to work and designed this….
The embellishments at the side use vintage lace as a backdrop to pearl daisy design, to match Fiona’s engagement ring. The bandeau netting was made slightly shorter than usual so that it could sit at the back of her head.
And I think you’ll agree from the photos below, that the result was wonderful and Fiona looked absolutely stunning. Congratulations to the lovely Mrs Ralph xxx
