We are often contacted by people asking what we suggest for a headpiece for their bridesmaids. Of course what you decide on depends on the style of your wedding, what the bridesmaids are wearing and budget but here are our thoughts.
It’s always nice for the bridesmaids to have a little something in their hair to complete their looks, but while it should fit in with the style of the day, of course that little something should never upstage the bride.
For that reason we usually suggest that bridesmaids stick to either a small comb, or alternatively a floral crown. Combs are great as they can add just a little bit of sparkle to make the bridesmaids feel special whilst being subtle enough to let the brides’ headpiece take centre stage.
Floral crowns are especially good if you also have flower girls on the day. Floral crowns are very versatile and can look very romantic and boho chic on an adult, or very cute on a younger girl. They can be made to tie in with the wedding flowers and colour schemes so are also great for those who want everything to look just perfect for their big day.
