Better late than never – this is a post we meant to do over a week ago but things have been busy busy so here we go now!
We are delighted to have received some gorgeous photos from a beautiful bride Gemma for who we recently made a bespoke birdcage veil to match her Sophia Tolli dress. Gemma first contacted us when she had tried her dress on in the lovely Lily and Lace boutique in Edinburgh. She had seen one of our similar designs in the Edinburgh based bridal shop but wanted something to perfectly match her dress for her wedding in the grand Balmoral Hotel in the heart of Edinburgh.
Gemma’s dress is the stunning Sophia Tolli Leighanna dress in ivory:
Gemma wanted the headpiece to be made from the excess fabric from her dress so that the material matched perfectly and gathered to reflect the ruching on the Sophia Tolli dress. She also wanted the stunning diamante and bead detail from the gathered point the dress to be mimicked in the birdcage veil design.
So we did exactly that and this is what we made:
Gemma has very kindly sent us a selection of her wearing her bespoke bridal headpiece on her big day and we are over the moon. She looks simply beautiful and we are delighted to have been part of her big day by creating this very special bridal headpiece for her. Enjoy the pics!
