So let’s face it, the summer wasn’t the sunniest in history and now it’s definitely time to accept that autumn is well and truly underway, with winter just round the corner!  So what themes and colour schemes are good for weddings at this time of year…?   We’ve seen some really gorgeous truly autumnal wedding colour schemes recently oranges and yellows work so well, and green is every popular.  Having flowers that reflect the season is a really lovely idea and work so well.  But you need not rely just on the flowers – your bridesmaids can wear some gorgeous shades of burnt orange or browns, the cake can have a real autumn feel to it with autumnal flowers (and it’s a very good excused to have a big chocolate cake – brown is a very autumnal colour after all!), an leaves – so may cute ways to use leaves in your theme as illustrated in some of the fab photos below.  If you’re aiming for a halloween themed wedding, pumpkins are a great way to add some colour and fun to the day.  And of course, last but not least, your headpieces! You can have some  gorgeous orange, yellow or brown fascinators made for your bridesmaids to tie everything together.  If you have any ideas of a quirky autumnal fascinator for them, just get in touch – remember we make bespoke fascinators so no idea is too out there for us!

Here are some brilliant photos for inspiration for your autumn wedding. Enjoy! xxx
