We are delighted to confirm our four new Glasgow venues for our very popular fascinator making classes – perfect for a craft loving bride! All four venues are located very centrally on Glasgow so are ideal wherever you are based in or around Glasgow as they can are all an easy walk away from the train station, and are all located near the lively shops, cafés, bars and spas in Glasgow’s centre.

All four venues offer something a little different for your hen party so we should be able to find a venue just to your taste.

The first is the fabulous Blythswood Square Hotel on the edge of Blythswood Square.  This fabulous, luxurious hotel and spa is the perfect place girly escape.  Your fascinator class will either be held in a private area of their beautiful salon, with decadent surroundings including all Harris tweed upholstery (which we LOVE!) where you can enjoy the buzz of the hotel, or alternatively in a private function room where you can enjoy some more privacy for your craft class.  This venue also offers the option of combining your class with another hen party activity – why not also watch some girly films in their private cinema room or enjoy some spa treatments in the morning before making your millinery masterpiece in the afternoon…?

Next we have the wonderful Corinthian Club.  This Central Glasgow venue is housed in one of Glasgow’s most elaborate and richly decorated buildings.  Here you have a choice of private rooms to use in this venue depending on your group size and your preferred style, ranging for the glitzy girls bar “Boutique” to the snug Scottish “Laird’s room“, from the funky Nosey Parker room to their grand Private Parker room – they will certainly have something to meet your needs!

If a funky bar is more your style, why not have your class at the Hummingbird in Bath Street? The Hummingbird is about as cool as they come. With bare bricks and candles, mixed with leather, contemporary art and and stunning lighting this place is a fantasy escape where you can lose yourself with its unbeatable selection of rooms.  For our larger groups we use the classic Posh Room (favoured by royalty don’t you know with Zara Phillips stating it to be one of her preferred dining rooms…) and for smaller groups we can take over the cosy, sparkling, simply gorgeous Glitter Room.

Last but not least we offer the fabulously quirky and quaint “The Butterfly & The Pig” tea rooms. This is for true vintage lovers and really does take you a step back in time with fabulous florals, wooden floorboards, china tea sets and delicious love-at-first-sight home made cakes.   Here you’ll have your own private room to devour those sugary delights (and of course the yummy sandwiches and pots of tea/glass of bubbles – I am just struggling to remember anything other than those caaaaaaakkes…!) and to work on your fascinator.

As with our Edinburgh based classes, the fascinator making classes will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, and are suitable for groups of 8-25 girls.  Each venue will provide either traditional afternoon tea, afternoon tea with a glass or two of fizz, or provide an alternate menu if it’s not afternoon tea that you’d like to nibble on whilst creating.  Each venue has their own pricing for the refreshments so please just get in touch for more information.
